Disciples in Motion

 God says to be a disciple.. his disciples,  we must Love.

Let's  explore that all imposing yet purposeful and complexed , complete and yet simple word...

First let's  break it down in Gods standard of what love looks like, therefore is an action, verb..

1 Corinthians 13: 1

Love is'nt boastful and it isn't  selfish.

If we speak volumes of knowledge and or posess spiritual  divine gifts  and understand the depths of Gods secrets /prophecy  and faith that moves mountains and mountains are pretty weighty...  but use them for selfish gain and omit love.. God says we are just a bunch of noise.  Unpleasant like that of clanging symbols and reduced to Nothing.

Even if a person were to all they posess to a poor person and surrender  their body to the flames / hardships just to boast and omit love, that person is a fraud. They gain nothing.

So without Love... it doesn't  matter what we do, people want transparency. 

We want relationship and relatability. 

People desire to be loved.

This is Love..

Love is patient, it is kind.

A person doesn't  need to boast whenever they do something nice.

It isn't  proud or let's  the ego get in the way of matters of the heart.

It isn't  out to shame or dishonor others or is it therefore self seeking.

It is love, so when we are walking out love, being love.. our intentions speak in our actions in how we respond even in our hurts so our anger is subdued much longer in tough or harsh situations, not easily angered.

We don't  desire to keep or strive to hold on to record of wrongs.

Love hates evil and is happy with the truth.

It is always seeking to protect not harm.

Always trusts, not judge 1st. Gives benefit of doubt. So it always Hope's.

And with such love, we can persevere in the thick of things. Always.

So Love holds all things together because it Never Fails.

Three things are of greatest importance when it comes to holding on to love, seeking it out ( being intentional in our decisions to love ) and then becoming love...

Faith

Hope

Love 

And love is the greatest

Now this is what a Disciple in motion does even in the midst of trouble,  hurt and not just in the victories, blessings and happy days..

We love. Just as 1 Corinthians 13 stated what love truly  is, that is to be our conduct towards everyone.

In every situation. We are not to be lead by our emotions  or our flesh when we are angry and say spiteful things, we are only to speak the truth and do it with a heart out of love.

When we have a bad day,  we seek out the good in it and decide to be kind to others along the way. 

We don't  lash out because we are feeling sad or angry or disappointed. 

Because  love is constantly  hopeful and ready to rejoice.. we seek to find the greater good and appreciate  the good we have in spite our situation.

When we are in pain, we acknowledge  it because  we are for the truth.  

We take a stand for the truth when we speak our mind and we keep in mind love as we speak...

So love is a guiding light in tough times and gives us strength,  hope to carry on even when we don't  feel like it.  After all, we all are human.

When we have been hurt by someone, we chose to forgive, we desire to forgive and live, carry on.

When we've been disappointed  and our heart is broken, the only thing that lifts us up out of our struggle,  our disappointments and heals our brokenness is love. 

Being loved. Knowing our pain matters and our voice is heard and giving others a chance to speak and be heard and considered is the balance of love when it comes to matters of the heart, ego must go and love is put in place.

So when we hurt others, we acknowledge  it.

We take ownership and apologize  because we stand for the truth and for what is right and not for what is wrong.

We desire to be love and treated with respect and not shamed. 

So we treat others as we want to be treated.

Love truly does hold us together and makes this world a better place. 

Without being love in motion whether you are a disciple of God or a believer..

Love is the key to every  good thing.

Some people put love into their home and their home becomes a beautiful  place to dwell. 

Some put love into money and work extra hard to seek after it and gain lots of money but life is drained out of them because without love for people, time is spent on work and relationships dwindle and die.  That's  a lonely place to end up.

Others put love into their  crafts and create, invent amazing things and are successful  because their thoughts  behind their work was you and me ( the clients need ) verses themselves.

When we put love into anything with a sincere heart.. it will bloom one way or another. Give it time and give yourself time to become inward and outward love.

God makes it so clear by a command he gives us all that become his love, his disciples..

John 13:34-35

A new command I give you ( this is a must do )

Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples.. ( if you love one another )

 

Love 

And love is the greatest

If we want true change, we must change within and if you are Gods disciple.. go out and put his love in motion.
